We are very excited to announce that Accademia Founder and School Director Scott McGehee along with Artistic Director Michele Bottini and Accademia guest faculty member Scott Putnam will be traveling to the International Conference on Commedia dell’Arte in Windsor, Ontario February 15-17, 2013.
Scott and Michele are eager to meet fellow Commedia scholars, performers, and practitioners and to engage in a dialogue on the state of this classical art form in it’s current contemporary context. This will also be a great time to connect with these two visionaries of the school to discuss opportunities for you, your institution, or your students to get involved in the programs at the Accademia.
If you or a colleague are planning on being in attendance and would like to schedule time to meet with Scott or Michele, or if you would just like to introduce yourself, please contact us at info@dell-arte.org. We’d love to hear from you!
While in the US, Michele Bottini will also be hosting a series of physical theatre and Commedia workshops in the Chicago area. He will also be holding auditions for the MFA for all those interested. If you are interested in attending one of these workshops, would like to learn more about the MFA program at the Accademia, or are interested in hosting Michele at your school, please reach out to Kali Quinn, Director of Recruitment and University Relations.
