Frances Rippy

We just got back from a long weekend in Roma, which was even more beautiful than I could have imagined. All the physical theatre students took a contemporary dance workshop together while we were there which was amazing. The day was a comprehensive introduction to the aspects of contemporary dance and culminated with partner work that brought us all closer as a class, and the fruits of that can already be seen in our work back at the Villa! Aside everything I’m learning here, one of my favorite things about the semester has been traveling through trips with the school and my own. Seeing the world and experiencing all the beautiful art in Italy inspires me and breathes new life into my work here. Can’t wait to see more of it!
